Erryone's favorite Barbershop, Birds(E. 6th location), is hosting bike party today at 5pm and everyone is invited! However, might I suggest you show up on a bike? Besides the Lonestar Beer on tap, Stay Gold DJ's Andy the Mouth on the decks, free cycling gear, there's gonna be races and even a BMX jam going down. Also, if you happen to have a pedicab license (I'm looking at you Mr. Roast), the good people at Birds Barbershop have a free cap for you! Oh yeah, and you can get a haircut.

Well, this was to be our first Second Sunday Sock Hop, however, I was beaten down by a weekend ruining cold. We've heard so many people rave about how much fun this party is, I was fully prepared to suck it up and drop $5 at the door. So yeah, needless to say Shangril La is the place to be tonight.

Whether or not I blog about Mad Classy's Sunday night dubstep party at Barcelona, it'll sell out. Sharkweek, Chango, and DJ JE kill it with bass every time. In the coming weeks they've got some massive names coming in to town, but tonight they'll keep it local and free.

Maybe you choose to get your bass fix on a different night, so this Sunday, house music it is! Ram-Z, Exceed and company will make you dance. Its also hard to be the dance party atmosphere that Plush has going. Uhm aaaaand its free, so yeah.
