Tonight's a huge night for Austin,TX! So much going on, so much! Free booze and amazing DJs are to be found all over our freezing lovely city. The Mohawk has probably the most Austin DJs spinning together that I've ever seen, but who the fuck knows. Red Bull and Big Green House are taking local pride to an extreme, 5 of Austin's best DJs mixing 10 local band's music. Prepmode, Orion, Richard.Gear, DJ JE, DJ Manny, and DJ BigFace spinning their own edits of tracks from bands like The Octopus Project, The Riverboat Gamblers, and many many more. I've had the pleasure of jamming Orion's set, killer, just fucking killer. Oh yeah, you might also be interested to know there's free Lonestar Beer and Dripping Springs Vodka from 7pm-8pm! The $5 cover goes to pay the medical bills of, Ian, the injured Riverboat Gambler. So your drunken dancing good time and your hangover are all for charity, tell your boss with pride!

More free booze? I thought so. I literally just heard about this party, but apparently that's the way VICE wanted it. The RSVP/flyer promise free Hornitos Tequila, as well as sets by The Carrots and The Strange Boys at Longbranch Inn. It's been like a mini SXSW this December, fuck! Btw, am I the only one who thinks the girl on the flyer is fucking beautiful? Juss sane.

Better hustle, mayne, if you wanna dance to what has been described as "a musically life changing dance party". RSVP closes at 6pm sharp! Expect a highly memorable by J.G. Wilkes of Optimo courtesy of Learning Secrets. However, you know Ian Orth can't just dance on the sidelines, he too will be mixin' it up along with Wilkes and Thomas' Austin. Artifact Workshop represent! This looks like it's the company x-mas party, crunked the fuck up, of course. Anytime you have Car Stereo (Wars), Neiliyo, or Hot Britches in a spot you've got a raging party. When all three of those rowdy bastards get together, in filthy ugly festive sweaters, no less, shit could get out of control in the best way. Emo's must've heard about the soaking wet dance party combo attack by Car Stereo (Wars) and Neiliyo at Fun Fun Fun Fest last month. However, this freshness should be even better than that. Wear your ugly sweater of the x-mas/bill cosby variety for drink specials and possibly a discount at the door. Speaking of the door price, I can't seem to find it anywhere, but I know I read $6 somewhere.
