Barcelona I thought you knew Mad Classy is there every Sunday hosting one of the best dubstep shows in ATX. This Sunday(like the rest of Mad Classy's March Schedule) is particularly huge! Our decision...FUCK IT WE'LL GO TO BOTH! We couldn't stand the thought of letting another chance to catch DJ Spin Laden and DJ Teenage Wolf pass by. BESIDES ITS FREE! The Peen Scene will be hitting up the good ol' Black & Tan(UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!!!YAY!!) for the first time in a while. Everybody is feelin' fidget right now, so come dance and drink and be a part of the movement while two of TX'z best, DJ Teenage Wolf & DJ Spin Laden lay it down for you on Saturday. This Saturday @ one of our absolute fav spots around Austin, the Beauty Bar. Learning Secrets is bringing RUNAWAY to town! Runaway has worked with lots o peeps including DFA. <-scene cred. Opening this shindizzle is the Learning Secrets dudes( Ian & Jeramy) spinning together(I guess, idk). I also see the uLOVEi logo on the poster, so expect to be video taped and then edited into a bombass video. word. This will definitely be a good time. Expect to see tons of faces! but if you happen to not like the legnth of the line for this, head on down 7th to the fidget disco for a while!

Why am I so excited about tonight's Wild Life!? Hmmm, where to begin? We'll to start, its the Brrfday party for our gooood friend/best bartender in Austin, Ryan Ulloa(seen on the poster in colored undrrwrr?)! So we can't wait to bring the ruckus with Ryan & Mel.
Secondly, our ears will be happily feasting on tasty audio cakes from 7...yeah 7 of the best DJ's in Austin - all of which I will link for you now! Richard.Gear & Joshua Distance are Wild Life's resident DJs, so they'll obviously be coming hard for you! Then, Mr. Fantastico of ulOVEi, Prepmode, BigFace, Go Go Garcia all doing their thingzz on the decks. Finally(for music atleast), be sure to catch Bird Peterson, fresh off of an Australian tour and about to head out w/effing MSTRKRFT! He's been a busy somebody for a minute!

There's a pretty nice little show going down @ The Parish for all my fellow downtempo <3erz. Do 512 has some info about the show. I have seen one of the bands,Govinda, opening for Bassnectar. Pretty decent show if you've got a pocket full of dank handy....oh yeah...no show poster. This show is being put on by one of only two programs worth listening to on 101X, Chillville. From 9am-12pm 101X actually lets the DJ play a lot of Portishead, Flying Lotus, Etc. quite enjoyable indeed.
