I'm totally looking forward to this Flashlight Party.
I can promise good music from start to finish. That is if you like to dance. I've heard that Plus Move will be closing the show for this one. They'll surely bring their glitchy best and us folks will surely eat'em up 'til the end! Srsly. If you haven't seen these guys, then you MUST come to this show, you'll see why. Plus Move "headlining" of course means that Orlando Mas, Markus(with a K) and Jordan will be kicking things off so hard with their eclectic mix of dance tunes specially chosen for you flashlight partiers.
I know you people are fans of pole dancers, our flickr stats tell us that. So here you have yet another opportunity to see some of the best around, Brass Ovaries. Don't worry its not awkward, there's music! Yep, Brass Ovaries Pole Dancing Army's shows are always in conjunction with the band Baby Got Bacteria, this Saturday at Emo's is no different. We've seen it go down!...now it's your turn.
Yet another fresh ass option for the night is, Oh Wait Electro. This new monthly Features three monster local names. Bird Peterson, Go Go Garcia and Prepmode, all night long in that underground sweaty dance factory, Barcelona.

If you need to be around more expensive drinks for a sloppy minute to sober up, dance your way across the street(they love that at the po po parking garage) to Beauty Bar anytime before after 12...but before 2. Got that? For those two hours Prince Klassen will be spinning and making the world a happier place! Anybody who has been to Beauty Bar on a Friday knows that its impossible not dance. And in most cases, its pretty hard to dance without a smile on your face. Thus, I rest my case, Prince Klassen, Friday nights at Beauty Bar, makes the world a happier place.
So you feel like seeing some live music? How about a band that reaches far beyond Austin and yet continue to live here. Yes, White Denim is local, they'll be playing at Antones. They're big in Europe...I think...They should be! Tickets are $10 at the door, but you can RSVP at Do512 for $5 entry.<--do that!

That's right, the dude's that gave us Austinites a chance to party in a fucking cave....with Bill Murray!...are done. If you didn't know...you'll never understand. If you have been a part of The Famousish's magic over the past year, then I refuse to believe that I'm the only one that hasn't been able to shake this choked up feeling since I read "Famousish Last Words."
Fernando, Johnny, Lydia, and Pony - you have no idea how much you have changed the game in ATX. You will be so fucking missed!

Wow, I'll keep this short because I desperately need to get back to work sorting through the 1500(give or take a few) pictures we took. I will say that we saw Kanye West(w/Common, Erykah Badu, Fonzworth Bentley, Kid Cudi, more), Bun B, Tricky, Kap10Kurt, Designer Drugs, HEALTH, Dirty Projectors, and more. A lot of dancing, too much drinking, so much walking, quite a bit of standing, very sweaty, ringing ears, a few old friends, tons of new friends = a few reasons why I love SXSW.

Alright Austin! I know I've heard a whole hell of a lot of you say you're glad SXSW is over(I for one would live in a world of SXSW activities, if that drunken/hipster/exhausting/smelly/sweaty land existed.). However, I know you've all got one more night left in you! THIS IS A BIG ONE! RUSKO! that's right the cockney thug himself will be rummmmble his way through Barcelona nite club. The cover is expensive to the point where normally I wouldn't go...but...it's Rusko and I'm obsessed. Come see all the local familiar faces you've missed!

This Tuesday has more things to do than any town should ever had to do Tuesday...it fucking rules! If you're looking to start sxsw music off one day early stop by the locally famous Music Gym anytime from 12pm - 7pm to enjoy some free alcohol and some world class DJ's thanks to CUL N SWEET! Its a whole lotta DJs and free booze for 2 dollaz! Just a few of the DJ's playing are DJ Spin Laden, DJ Teenage Wolf, DJ Orion, Dubbel Dutch, How about a little DJ Rampage and Charlie Glitch to finish out the afternoon!? Pack a fat bowl of that in your SXSWMusic crack pipe and smoke the shit out of it!

I'm also curious about the giveaways...those of you that know us know that nothing makes The Peen Scene happier than something FREEEEEE! More than likely we'll be checking this out @ the Beso Cantina.
