So, it appears as though the festive chaos that was last Friday has spawned a new weekly at Hush Lounge(6th & San Jacinto, above Vice). With the exception of T-Luv, The whole crew is returning to do it again, tonight. That means a full fledged dance party featuring Hot Britches, DKCJ, Neon Black(a.k.a. Jason Torres/T-Luv's DJ), and Blake Brandon. I hear Blake Brandon has got some fresh new dubstep joints he can't wait to bust for you. Won't you let him???

Damn fools is gettin' irresponsible two weeks in a row!? Fo sho, Irresponsible Voltron are uniting tonight for all the bass, electro, and fidget fun at Barcelona. Last Thursday, their Trill Bass Party was straight up debauchery...Expect more of the same!

Oh shit, I juuuust now found out about this! promotion = FAIL! So it seems, there's a rather large dubstep show going down over on SoCo at Ruta Maya. Dem Mad Classy dudes, Dubbel Dutch, and a few more will be busting mad UK funky and the requisite duuuuubstep! I'm not sure how much the cover charge is, Ruta Maya can be pretty effing expensive sometimes.

Tonight our friend James will be out at Elysium with his posse celebrating the day of his birthing. Happy Birthday Playa! While there is a $3 cover for this motown, disco, funk party...I'll be damned if that doesn't sound like a goodtime dance party!

For this show, I'm not 100% on info. Some spots/sites/flyers have NYC's electro pop act, Team Facelift playing at Beauty Bar, while others simply list Betaplayer, Dirty Stereo, The Breakfast Club Crew, and DJ Twist and Shout playing. Either way, its gonna be a pretty packed shindig. More info that I lack = cover, sry!

Following the outdoor Stubb's performance by Kid Cudi/Asher Roth, head inside the same venue(Stubb's) for some of Austin's best hip hop talent. Not only will this after party feature the 101X approved Zeale with his DJ Markus(with a K), but it'll also have a set by fucking Phranchyze! You know you wanna...

Oh yeah, The Paramount Theatre is showing Easy fucking Rider tonight at 8:50pm. Can you say classic!? Tickets are

Tonight, a few proactive Austin bloggers like Austin Eavesdropper, Ultra8201, Austinist, and AustinBloggers.org are hosting an Austin "Bleet Up" at Trio(inside the Four Seasons). The first 50 people get swag bags, there's even complimentary valet!<--I would love to see the look on their faces...(my car sucks rly bad). Anyway, this blindig is from 6 - 8pm. Someone wear this for me.

It seems like just yesterday Side Bar was the new(ish) spot on 7th, now they're turning 5! I'm not sure what exactly will be taking place at the Side Bar 5th Anniversary Party, but I'm sure that shit'll be poppin'. Daz 2nite.

If you need some spice in your step, there's sure to be a packed house over at Malverde for DJ Orion's latin gangsta flavored dance tunes. There's totes a reason why he's got shows all over the city/country, Orion has got some skills.

Our friends at Ultra8201 iz some bizzy bodies! First they'll be at the previously mentioned "Bleet Up", then they'll be heading down to The Parish to hook up with Sonic Itch Music and Navdo to throw a party! Music will be provided by Winston Audio, The White White Lights, and Eleni Mandell. Fun and drunken awkwardness will be provided by you. Also, DJ Scorpio will be mixin' it up for you throughout the night. Tickets are $9 for 18-20/$7 for 21 & up(both + a $2 fee) - doors at 8:30pm!

There's also a top of the line local dubstep party going on at the corner of 7th and Red River. You should know by now that Grommit, Innerlign, and the Weight crew will be at Plush dropping bassy eardrum rapists all night long.

I rarely get any recognition for the posters I put together or edit for information accuracy. So, last week I quickly threw together an edited flyer for Superstar Tuesday(it moved to Creekside) with photobucket editor. I was in a hurry and the results clearly showed that. Well, later that day I see a tweet from @RichardHenry saying thanks(he's a nice dude), later that week I saw that Tiffany gave me credit at www.AustinIsBurning.com(she's a sweet girl)! HA! pretty embarrassing. I've made some pretty crunk flyers, that was not one of'em. Anyway, here is a re-edit, its slightly better. The moral of this story: Richard Henry and Crop Diggie will be spinning soul, funk, hip hop, reggae, everything/every Tuesday at Creekside!

If this show was 14 years ago, I would have been super hype on it, In 2009...I'd still go, just not as agile or excited. La Zona Rosa tonight, Reel Big Fish and The English Beat. Tickets are $30. Hey, skankin' is a dance too!

Obviously, just about everyone would like to be smokin' indo while gettin' yer sexual eruption on...but tickets are $40! Damn, financial murder was the case!
