Anyway, tonight I'm highly considering going to see them for the first time in 11 years. Like I said, I'm old. I don't like the fact that New Found Glory is headlining the show, but its the 10th anniversary of their biggest album. So whatever. Emo's will be like a pop punk time machine tonight. I don't know any of the openers, that probably shows my age once again. Oh well. The lineup looks like this: Fireworks, HelloGoodbye, Saves The Day, and New Found Glory playing their S/T album from beginning to end. Tickets are $22, doors at 6:30pm.

The inside stage of Emo's is going to be considerably heavier with Veil of Maya, Animals as Leaders, Circle of Contempt, Periphery, and Falsetta bringing the metal. Tickets to this one are $12, doors at 7pm.

Free alcohol on a Tuesday, that's how the fuck Austin rolls. Starting at 9pm sharp, the free Treaty Oak Rum starts flowing and won't stop until 10:30pm or its all gone. Get to Beauty Bar early! As an added bonus you'll be treated to dance music DJ sets by Digg, Czech One, and DJ Scorpio. Bands like The Seas, The Kicks, OK Sweetheart, and Nick Flora will also be joining in the fun with live sets. There's no cover, but there's free alcohol, you do the math.

The music of Bob Marley will be celebrated tonight via the bay area's Groundation. DJ Richard Henry will also be spinning the Flamingo Cantina party. I mean, you know all the words to every song about to be played. How the fuck could that not be fun!? Tickets are $17, I think.

Last month Woxy and Austinist held a listening party for Vampire Weekend's new album. This time around its all about the new album by Midlake is getting the VIP treatment by the two Austin media powerhouses. That probably means big big things for the Denton boys. Its all happening at The Scoot Inn tonight. Expect more than just the first chance to hear the whole new album. I'm talking giveaways and more! The party starts at 8pm.

The good folks at Austin Vida are hosting a listening party of their own tonight. This one even features DJ Chorizo Funk spinning all night! What's more is that its happening at Mi Casa, a spot famous for its tamales. Mmmmmm tamales and beer. So you just might want to come out and escuchan to new albums by Banda De Turistas and Misterio.
